Volume CXIII – The Clinical use of Dreamwork and Imagination

Dear Dream Tending Community,

I will be offering a workshop on the clinical use of dreamwork and imagination. This clinical training workshop is very dear to my heart. With a background in clinical psychology and marriage family therapies, I have cultivated multiple ways to work with dreams in clinical and institutional practice. This offering will be limited to 20 selected participants. We will gather on the Lambert campus of Pacifica Graduate Institute near Santa Barbara.  People from all disciplines and approaches within the helping professions are welcome to apply.

The learning experience will include lectures, demonstrations, supervision, and enactments taken from actual case studies.  You will learn specific methods and strategies of utilizing dream work in your clinical practice and tools your clients can practice between sessions. New techniques and tools taken from my recent book, The Imagination Matrix, will also be offered for applied praxis.

Learning the intricacies of working with imagination and dream in your clinical setting opens sources of creativity.  I will offer models of working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.  Over the decades, participants of these Clinical Workshops tell of increased competencies when working with clients. Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, and Counselors of all disciplines tell of a new generativity that infuses their work.
