Welcome to this week’s Tending Tuesdays offering! Tending Tuesdays was inspired by a pull to sustain the value of what happens when we come together as a community. Each Tuesday, an email will come to you with a link to a new video on a Dream Tending or depth psychological topic in the form of current writing and research, interviews, discussions with colleagues, and clips of tending dreams.

Dear Dream Tending Community,

We are getting closer to the beginning of Dream Tending Certificate I—on February 7, 2022.

On Monday we gather in community for our first session, which will be held via a live online event. The remaining sessions are planned to be in person at the Pacifica Lambert Road Campus.

Since I wrote to you last, our community has grown. Joining us in the Certificate I program will be a number of Mentors of Dream Tending. These folks will bring their expertise in the expressive arts, bodywork, mythology, literature, and years of training in Dream Tending. Their addition will further personalize your experience and expand the Certificate I program to include mid-module interest group breakout sessions. You will have multiple opportunities to enhance your personal and vocational interests and follow your dreams.

The Certificate I program is advanced training in Dream Tending and Deep Imagination. Here I offer skills and methods that underpin four essential “teachings” of Dream Tending: Working with Living Dream Images, Tending Nightmares in Generative Ways, Exploring the Intersection between Dreams and World, and The Healing Power of Dreams (Medicines of the Soul).

In each of these four-day modules, you will gain increased capacities to tend to your dreams as well as those of others. At the center of our work together is “hands-on” dream work. I look forward to working with multiple dreamers each day and teaching from our actual shared experience.

Our time together is enlivened through ritual, high play, music, and friendship. Participating in a community of dreamers is, for me, both a privilege and a commitment to self-care.

I look forward to seeing you . . .

Warmly,

Steve
