Dear Dream Tending Community,

It is a privilege for me to offer you the teachings of Jean Houston. You see, once upon a time, when I was in my college years, I had the good fortune to attend one of Jean’s highly creative workshops. At the time, of course, I had no idea where that experience would lead. At the end of the second day, I shared with Jean a dream that had visited me the night before. In the dream, I heard a voice directing me to discover a book that my great-grandfather had written. I thought to myself, “how peculiar,” and “this is only a dream because my great-grandfather was a shoe cobbler from the old country. He did not write books.” Jean looked me directly in the eye and said clearly, “Steve, find the book.”
To my complete surprise and to make a longer story short, I located my elderly great-aunt, whom I had not seen in a long time. Upon entering her small home, she handed me the book. Well, as they say, the rest is history. . . . The founding of Dream Tending as well as Pacifica Graduate Institute was inspired by the soul sparks embedded in those pages.
Jean Houston sees into illuminated realms of consciousness. She offers instruction on how to navigate the mysteries. Her work is like none other. Her presentations are enjoyable, profound, and delivered in the high play of a different order.
It is my pleasure to present to you Dr. Jean Houston.
Until next Tuesday…

In the dreamtime,
Steve
