Dear Dream Tending and Deep Imagination Community,
The dream team is currently in the midst of running the current Certificate I, Module III segment on The World’s Dream: Methods of Animation. This module teaches specific ways of listening to the world psyche through the individual figures alive within dreams. In this module students learn about cultivating ensouled consciousness; to live as if the world around us is alive, has a soul, and is filled with meaning.

“Humans beings evolved to live in tightly knit tribal groups in constant contact with animals and nature. We have a deep psychological need to feel connected with people, the animals, and the environment around us. We reach out to them from our souls and feel them responding from their own. The world is a place alive with soul.”
(Aizenstat, p. 155, 2011)

Connecting with the meaning of the world’s soul around us, in turn, offers the ability to live a meaningful life. Dream images, especially dreamscapes (the landscapes within dream) offer portals to tap into ensouled consciousness living.

As this cohort moves through Certificate I, it excites us to announce our upcoming Certificate I course is now enrolling. The Dream Tending and Deep Imagination Certificate I Program starts this November. This program will be online and held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The dates are Module I: Nov 3rd, 4th, 5th; Module II: February 9th, 10th, 11th; Module III: April 19th, 20th, 21st; and Module IV June 28th, 29th, 30th. This online weekend workshop will cover the basic underpinnings of the Dream Tending method and offer continuing education units.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Warmly,
The Dream Team

Exercise

Bring your focus to a dreamscape or landscape that feels dreamy. Spend some time with this landscape in your imagination. Explore it with your eyes, ears, sense of smell, and feel. Notice the colors, the feeling-tones, what excites you here. Draw the landscape from your imagination. Notice as you offer the light of your attention to this space, in turns how the dreamscape becomes alive – pulsing with animism. Notice as you open your heart and senses, in turn what opens in you; the space of ensouled conscious living.

Inside The Curious Mind

A quote that resonated with me this week…
“If we allow ourselves even a few minutes a day free from distraction, we will certainly begin to encounter this lush and expansive dream life. We need only learn how to listen to the living images of dreams.”
