Volume LXII - Burning away the illusion; listening to the emergence of YOUR deepest truth

Dear Dream Tending and Deep Imagination Community,

As the end of the year gets close, we are provided with a possibility. An annual check-in where we get to ask, “is this the life most authentic to me? Am I showing up as the person I want to be being?”

While these questions can be challenging to sit with and listen into, they can help us deepen into our vulnerability and truth. Jungian Analyst, Marion Woodman, said “a life truly lived constantly burns away veils of illusion, burns away what is no longer relevant, gradually reveal(ing) our essence, until, at last, we are strong enough to stand in our naked truth.”

If you are looking for community to, as Marion Woodman said, stand in your naked truth with there are two things happening in the Dream Tending community I want to personally invite you to be a part of. The first, is a rare opening for our Winter Montana Dream Tending Retreat. This five-day retreat will nourish and replenish psyche and soul. Each participant will work with a dream in a small group setting located in the majestic landscape of Montana (bordering Yellowstone National Park.) There is a chef, afternoons are free for creative play, and space is held to burn away veils of illusion to stand strong in your naked, authentic truth.

The second invitation is for our Dream Tending and Deep Imagination Certificate I program. This program conveniently starts in January, allowing you to enter 2023 with a community of professionals that are gathering who are looking to listen to dreams and hold each other in deepening their creative process. This program is perfect if you are yearning to listen into your authentic calling as it specializes in tapping into subconscious material and bringing it into more awareness through specific training tools and techniques on how to work with dreams and access deep imagination. Stephen Aizenstat

Stephen Aizenstat, Ph.D., is the founder of Dream Tending, Pacifica Graduate Institute, and the Academy of Imaginal Arts and Sciences. He is a world-renowned professor of depth psychology, an imagination specialist, and an innovator. He has served as an organizational consultant to major companies and institutions, and as a depth psychological content advisor to Hollywood film makers. He has lectured extensively in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. He is affiliated with the Earth Charter International project through the United Nations, where he has spoken.
