Dear Dream Tending Community,

In the world today, the stories dominating the psyche orient around war and exclusion. However, constellations of countless soul-sparks speak of new emerging stories, as well. These stories evolve not from the complexes of an ego’s power drive or habituated patriarchal narratives, but from the illuminating presence of an emerging story-web: a realm where the intimations of the deep psyche ask to be known. Awakening stories speak to experiences of the present, but, more importantly, convey the pull of the future. Their intimations are part of a much greater revelation.

Awakening stories are sourced by the lament of the dead, the voices of the yet to be born, and too, the anima mundi, the soul in and of the world.  Join us for Tending the World’s Dream, our spring reunion, as we once again walk the land at the Lambert campus. Together we will invite the soul of place to tell of our becoming, our authentic calling. We will gather in council and host the generative sparks that offer guidance. We will listen to the voices of the Elders as they invite us into our greater belonging. Tending to the emergence of new stories is being asked of us now. May we gather in community and invite the anima mundi to make her presence known.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Warmly,

Dr. Stephen Aizenstat

A quote that resonated with me this week…

Rather let us imagine the anima mundi as that particular soul-spark, that seminal image, which offers itself through each thing in its visible form.”
