Dear Dream Tending Community,
I have returned from the Philippines where I presented on the Imagination Matrix to three groups of people. I was asked to come because of my background in Dreams and Imagination. I really enjoy working with this wonderful community, a culture filled with so much “animation.” Also, I had a minimum of six meals a day, the food is delicious. . . I have been invited to teach in this warm hearted community over the years. Always an abundant soul-enhancing experience for me. They, as well as I, really like story.
In the first workshop, I offered ways of journeying into the deep imagination to Jungian oriented depth psychologists. For many, this process opened new portals. As I work with dreams, I now look for the images that provide access to the matrix of imagination, a resource that is so generative in many ways.
In the second workshop, I offered to the wider community the essential skill sets and benefits of accessing deep imagination. These include: awakening curiosity, connecting to Soul Companions (the traveling crew), learning the ways of journeying in the web of imagination, and discovering your personal innate genius. Folks found inner resources that inform emotional, psychological, and physical well being. And,too, they experimented with how to live an imagination centered life. Creativity opened and the pleasure of new discovery filled the room.
In the third workshop, I offered the ways of applying the Imagination Matrix System to leadership teams. As you know, when curiosity meets creativity, innovation comes to life. There was heartfelt excitement among many – as people evolved new ideas and approaches for their particular workplaces.
I am looking forward to sharing skills and tools with you at our upcoming Exploring the Imagination Matrix Workshop. Our time together will be both informational as well as experiential. Stephen Aizenstat, Ph.D., is founder of Pacifica Graduate Institute, Dream Tending, and the Academy of Imagination.
